For centuries, Ziwei Doushu has used the time and place of a person’s birth to build a symbolic map of personality, relationships and the way they move through life.
It came from a very different world, one that understood people not as isolated individuals, but through patterns of time, temperament, relationships and circumstance.
We don’t use it to predict the future.
Instead, we borrow this ancient framework to ask a very modern question:
in a world with more choices than ever, where people somehow find it harder and harder to truly meet, how else might we understand one another?
